An Angel Pin for Jean Vance
Virginia Kernaghan gave an angel pin gift to Jean Vance. She is an Angel in Virginia's life.

Jean is a lover of books and people. I first met Jean when my granddaughters were little. In the summers we used to go to the city library every week to check out new books. Since I love books so much I wanted Brandy and Wendy to also love books.
Later when we started going to the Presbyterian Church, there was Jean, also the church librarian. I first noticed her there when she was so helpful to Grace Harby who later had a school named in her honor. Jean and her husband Wade often did things for Grace such as making frames for plaques Grace wanted to present to the church. When Grace got up to do the presentations, she leaned on Jean's arm to get up and down the steps. I admired Jean so much for being such a helper to those who needed help.
When Hal started teaching Sunday School in the Fellowship Class at church, Jean as the librarian, often found interesting books for him to use in research for his presentations in the class. Both Hal and I appreciated her interest and help in locating the research materials. Since I am in a wheelchair, often she would act as hostess in our home for parties and serving at the refreshment table.
Jean knows of my interest in reading and often shares books with me that she knows I will enjoy reading. She sends me lovely cards which she often makes herself for she knows I will enjoy them. Jean is truly an Angel in my life.
