 Darlene was my student in 8th grade. Her charming ways and ready smile endeared her to everyone including me. Later in life, she became my next-door neighbor who often calls me just to check on me to see if I need anything. Her visits bring sunshine into my life.She is a secretary in the bank, and a notary who has signed many papers and documents for me. She is never too busy or too hurried to take care of me when I need something signed. Darlene is a friend to everyone, and is a busy committee woman who does things for our community. At one time she and her daughter sold beautiful rings which I had admired on her fingers so much that I too wanted to buy some like them. Her sweet ways and bright smile make my life more interesting for she is my angel.
